This past year I graduated with my masters and have been working as a 5th grade teacher.  As a first-year, my life since September has included some long days and nights, pots of coffee, mountains of grading, and a new-found relationship with my computer.

The best part about it all?  I LOVE my job, LOVE the kids, and absolutely LOVE my staff!

Bulletin boards and projects are the only artistic pieces being created by me right now, though I eagerly anticipate the summer when I will have time once more to indulge in my hobbies.  Until then, I have social studies tests and writing prompts waiting to be graded.  Perhaps a fun, colorful pen will make it feel more like an art project!
